Price & investment

How our pricing works

No surprises, and full transparency about what drives the price and what the investment returns: lower audit, review, design and data-modelling costs because an automated process takes over much of the manual work.

A licence that fits

Tailored to the type of organisation — commercial or non-profit — and to the scale of the reporting operation: number of legal entities, report types, formats and users.

The investment has two parts: a recurring annual licence fee plus one-off setup costs. After a short demo, a tailored price proposal follows.

What drives pricing

  • Legal entities

The base licence covers reporting for one legal entity. Additional entities are configured in the same system for a small surcharge — as the group structure requires.

  • Report types

One report type is included. The annual report is the usual starting point; extra types — quarterly or monthly reports or other reports — are added later.

  • Output formats & reporting requirements

PDF, MS Word and MS Excel are standard in the base licence. Add iXBRL/XBRL per reporting requirement — ESEF, SEC, CSRD or SBR — along with an online output channel.

  • Data connectors

The Excel connector is in the base licence. The SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW connectors are optional and already built, so available right away; other connectors we build on request. Taxxor Disclosure Manager is flexible: it can in principle read any source as long as it has a predictable schema.

  • Number of users

Five users per entity are included. Extra users are ordered individually or in larger bundles, as needed.

  • Hosting

Use our SaaS offering, where we host and manage the Taxxor DM instance. Or host Taxxor DM on-premise in the organisation’s own environment — often the choice when specific control and governance requirements apply.

What the base licence includes

Each subscription starts with a base licence for one legal entity: five users, one report type, the Excel connector and PDF output in a standard layout. Updates, taxonomy maintenance and fair-use support are always part of it — modules are added only where the reporting requires them. Support is personal: call with a question, and we pick up.

The honest first year

The first year is an investment year: the client’s team and Taxxor’s set up the base reporting structure together — mapping existing reports, connecting data sources, configuration and training. That investment pays back fast, because afterwards it is a repeatable process with predictable output that automates a lot of manual work: map once, report infinitely.

What determines the one-off costs?

The one-off setup costs differ per customer and depend on factors such as:

  • how easily existing reports convert to the Taxxor Disclosure Manager format
  • how much content needs migrating — and how much the in-house team takes on itself
  • how structured the Excel source data is that’s connected to Taxxor DM
  • how complex the report design is, and whether the in-house team sets it up via the Report Designer module or we play a role

What to weigh it against

The licence price is only part of the picture. Weigh it against the true cost of the alternatives: the manual route means re-converting every year, and a cheaper publishing tool delivers only this year’s report — not the process behind it, with source data from an uploaded file instead of straight from the source systems. Those are exactly the costs, outside the licence, that an automated, data-driven process lowers:

  • Audit time

Audit-trail evidence can be generated at any moment by Taxxor DM; auditors can be given direct access to the platform.

  • Internal review

Numbers stay automatically consistent across the whole report, so page-by-page checks of XBRL from a separate tool fall away; changes are traceable through track-changes PDFs or the Auditor View timeline.

  • Design

A fully styled PDF is generated automatically at any moment — with no manual layout work by a design agency or department.

  • Data modelling

Create XBRL extension concepts and connect new data sources in-house — without involving an XBRL specialist.

Pay only for the reporting requirements that actually apply — ESEF, SBR or SEC — so the price stays in proportion to the organisation and its reporting obligations.

Pricing FAQ

Why isn’t there a price on the site?

Because the right price depends on the situation: the type of organisation, the reporting requirements that apply and the scale of the reporting operation. We map that in a short call, show how Taxxor works in that situation in a demo, and then give a tailored price proposal — not an apples-to-oranges comparison with a standalone conversion tool.

What exactly is a user?

A user — also called a “seat” or “named user” — is tied to one person. A user can be transferred to someone else, so a seat is not locked to the same person forever. What is not possible: sharing a single user between two or more people at the same time.

How fast do I get a quote?

A tailored quote within two business days after the demo.
