Born from reporting practice
Taxxor was founded by practitioners who know corporate reporting from the inside: producing annual reports, hitting deadlines, and running into the same problem at the end of every cycle — figures, narrative and tags drifting apart across separate documents.
That experience produced the design decision the platform still rests on: start from structured data, not from a document that gets converted afterwards. In Taxxor DM, figures, narrative and XBRL tags live in the same source — so the designed annual report, the PDF and the filing cannot contradict each other.
Today that single platform serves a wide range of mandates: from ESEF and SEC 20-F for listed companies to SBR filings for large Dutch entities, housing corporations, educational institutions and accounting firms.
A small team, at the centre of the standard
Taxxor is a deliberately small, specialised company — but small does not mean peripheral. Team members are active in the XBRL community, including XBRL Nederland and XBRL International — the organisations where the standard is maintained and developed.
- New taxonomies and mandate changes don’t arrive as surprises — they are followed where they originate, and implemented before they become mandatory.
- A question about tagging, validation or a taxonomy release is answered by someone who knows the specification — not by a service desk reading a script.
- The distance between a question and a decision is short: the people who build the platform are the same people who answer the phone.

Partner for structured supervisory reporting by financial institutions, such as Solvency and FINREP/COREP submissions. Those reports run through the integration with the Aguilonius platform — deliberately a partner solution alongside Taxxor DM, not core platform functionality.
